safe travels, and actually making it to our flight on time.
As we were driving to the airport yesterday there was a wreck that shut down about a 5 mile stretch of the interstate. We had to take an alternate route along with all of the other rerouted interstate traffic, so we were afraid we might miss our flight. Luckily for us, the flight was delayed by 15 minutes, so we made it to the flight with about 2 minutes to spare before we boarded! We were still able to get our luggage checked in, diapers changed, a bag of lunch for the plane & even our gate tag for the stroller. Pshew! The travel gods were on our side, despite a very rainy and overcast travel morning.
We landed, our Uncle Matt taxi picked us up, and then we began our sunny Florida vacation.
And Luke is soooo excited to be with Uncle Matt & Aunt Katy!
this is day 22 in a new series: 30 days of gratitude
