I’m going to try and challenge myself in a number of ways. I’m going to try and participate in a 31 Days blog “link” party. This means that I’m going to have a new blog post each day for the 31 Days of October. I learned about this from Erin over at Blue Eyed Bride, and did some reading about it. It’s hosted by The Nester. I’ve linked my blog, but since I’m so new at this, I don’t even have a cute 31 Days blog button like everyone else. Oh well…let’s try and get this writing thing done first, right?
My topic of choice for the next 31 days…being a Pastor’s Wife.
It’s a new thing to me, it’s a new thing for our family, and it’s an adventure. We’re now in a small town in rural Kentucky where everyone knows everyone, and people live differently than I’m so used to living. I’m the town’s Presbyterian Minister’s Wife. And I’m new at being a mom. And new at being so far away from my family. And I’m going to be a mom again for a second time. And I’m attending a conference this month to “learn” how to be a small church minister’s wife. So, it all fits.
I hope you’ll join me on this journey as I venture into sharing my thoughts, prayers and learnings of being a pastor’s wife over the next 31 days. As the days go on, I’ll add to this post a link to each individual post so that they will all be accessible in one location. I hope you’ll journey with me so that we can all learn, laugh, pray and mull over thoughts together.
After all, I’m the Pastor’s Wife.
I can use some support and guidance…and prayers for the journey.
